Mullen and Mullen has been organizing, participating in, and contributing to community causes that make a real difference, especially for people really need it in Dallas.
This is part of our commitment to the community. Many big out of town or out of state law firms come to Dallas, setup satellite locations, buy billboards and TV ads and make themselves seen everywhere.
But they’re not a part of the community and they don’t give back. By contrast, we only exist because of our local community. This is our back yard and it has been for 40 years.

Anna Waller had taken her child to three other therapeutic riding centers in Texas…but none came even close to delivering the same results that Divine Equine did. In just one week, Anna watched her little one’s self-esteem soar at Divine Equine Therapeutic Riding Center.
The difference?
Divine Equine took the time to teach Anna’s daughter about riding a horse. The other therapeutic riding centers, though well-intended, simply put her on a horse and walked her in circles.
It was a seemingly small thing, but Ms. Waller couldn’t have been more thankful for the dramatic improvement in her daughter’s self-esteem. She commented:
“…You’re a godsend! Thank you so, so very much and give our love to the horses! God bless always.”
It’s memorable stories like this that Divine Equine aims to create. And it’s why Mullen & Mullen proudly provides ongoing financial support to this fine organization.
Divine Equine Therapeutic Riding Center’s website notes that the organization serves adults and children with “many disabilities and challenges.” These include:
And people with the following specific conditions:
You can expect amazing, and even life-changing benefits from therapeutic riding. While they usually take just a few weeks to materialize, some show up during your loved one’s very first session!
Just some of the benefits your loved one can experience include:
And you can also expect many more to come to pass because Divine Equine’s courses run from 7 – 10 weeks long!
To top all these amazing benefits off, Divine Equine prices itself reasonably so that all who need it can afford it. And scholarships are even available for those who need it most.
Divine Equine offers a variety of free programs and services for disabled veterans of all ages and abilities.
Why?
Because war veterans have an amazingly high suicide rate. Shocking data bears out this claim. In 2020, an average of 16.8 veterans committed suicide – per day!
The Disabled Veterans program involves 32 weeks of group horsemanship classes that improve emotional and physical well-being for veterans.
This helps veterans cope with many of the common challenges that result from war-time service, such as:
Some of the many benefits veterans experience include:
Now you see why we love Divine Equine Therapeutic Riding Center so much, and why we’re happy to provide ongoing support to this organization.
